With a large Union such as MEF, we need to find better ways to communicate.  One of the best ways to get information to members is with face-to-face communication.  To do this, MEF is building a MAT structure.  You can read more on the AFSCME website , but in short, the MAT structure is similar to a phone tree, in that one person gives information to 10 people, and they talk to 10 people, and they talk to 10 people, etc.

MEF's goal is to have one MAT Captain on each floor of City Hall and in each CSA and/or Department.
